Donald, 43, owns Metro Tow and Transport, while his 66-year-old mother Lannette is an employee at the business.
Probable cause documents alleged that the Kansas City Police Department has fielded “numerous complaints” about Metro Tow over the last several years, including recently. Those complaints include fees in excess of municipal ordinance, difficulty in retrieving towed vehicles and even people losing cars after the company applies for titles through the Department of Revenue after citing cars as abandoned property.
