KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Guests at the Kansas City Zoo will have a new attraction this summer — and it won’t be the animals behind the glass or the fence.

In partnership with Imagine, the zoo is bringing Dinosaurs Around the World to Kansas City from May 1 through Aug. 24.

“Every kid loves dinosaurs, so we are thrilled to be bringing them to the Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium,” said zoo CEO Sean Putney. “We work hard every day at the Zoo to save animals from extinction, so dinosaurs are also a good reminder of the importance of our conservation efforts!”

Displays include the Tyrannosaurus rex of North America, the amphibious Spinosaurus from Africa, the duck-billed Hadrosaur of Jurassic Antarctica and more.

Life-size dinosaurs, including some that are animatronic, are located throughout the “topside” of the Zoo within walking distance from the front gate.
